About Roberto Capodieci
Born in Mestre, Italy in 1974.
At the age of five in 1979, started learning computer programming concepts and BASIC language on his own.
At the age of 10 in 1984, created his first computer game and sold it in shops of his town.
At the age of 13 in 1987, founded MegaComputerMania in Italy, a club for IT enthusiasts; with the club members, he conceptualized and programmed a protocol for VHF radio packet data transmission, and a system for the radio control of robots.
At the age of 14 in 1989, began computer consultancy work as a private business and worked with the University of Padua.
At the age of 15 in 1990, started Akropolys - which became later became Akropolys Group in 1994 - and was Chief Programmer at the software house in Italy.
At the age of 21 in 1996, together with an Internet service provider, started WLove, Italy’s first Internet cafe.
At the age of 22 in 1997, opened RCX and was Chief Programmer at the private software house and IT security consulting firm in Italy.
At the age of 27 in early 2001, was engaged as Start-Up Manager at Avrion, a private joint venture between two big players in the Italian IT Field, to set up company structure and hire management team and developers; he also closed the first sale for a project worth more than US$500.
At the age of 27 in late 2001, started Blu Horse and was Software Development Manager at the private software house in Italy for development of software for securing Internet servers and client-server applications.
At the age of 30 in 2004, started working full time as an IT Security Consultant providing consultation and investigation expertise on information security matters and cyber crime.
At the age of 31 in 2005, started Barefoot Multimedia, an IT company in Bali.
